What Sensefold captures

Sensefold captures almost anything you want to keep — articles, threads, videos, files, and your AI conversations — and enriches every capture automatically: a summary and tags on save, OCR for images and PDFs, transcripts for video. Your own notes are the exception by design: indexed for search, never rewritten.

Every source reaches your library through one of two paths, and the difference explains most of the support matrix:

  • Chrome extension — captures the page as you see it, signed in. This is the only path for content behind your login: AI conversations, LinkedIn posts, members-only pages.
  • Share a link — the iOS share sheet, or pasting into the web app. Sensefold visits the link for you, like a visitor who is not signed in. Some sites get capture tuned specifically for them; everything else gets clean general capture.

The tables on the source pages mark each path: ● Optimized means capture is tuned for that site, ◐ Works means clean general capture, ○ Not yet means we have not built it yet (tell us if you rely on it), and N/A means this path cannot reach the content by design — for example, AI conversations are only visible when you are signed in, so a link Sensefold visits as a signed-out visitor shows nothing. Capture those from your browser with the extension instead.
